Is this course for you?

You are deep into your PhD and starting to think about what comes next. You know you have developed valuable skills — but translating that into a career strategy, a strong CV, or a confident interview feels like a different challenge entirely.

This course was designed for exactly that moment. It gives you the tools, structure, and practical exercises to take ownership of your next career steps — at your own pace, alongside a cohort of fellow doctoral researchers doing the same.

Note: This course is open to PhD students enrolled at the participating universities*. If places remain after PhD student registration closes, they will be offered to postdoctoral researchers.

3. Apply.Me
Transform your academic CV into an industry-standard CV that speaks directly to non-academic employers

4. Interview.Me

5. Launch.Me
Evaluate job offers, negotiate your compensation, and start your new role with confidence and clarity.

How it works

The course is fully online and self-paced — you work through the video lessons, exercises, and workbooks in your own time, around your existing commitments.

All registered students join together to kick off the course.

  • Mid-course check-in — 6 November 2026, 13:00–14:30 (online)
An optional session at the halfway point — bring your questions, connect with fellow participants from all five universities,
    and expand your network.

  • Close-off meeting — 29 November 2026, 10:00–11:00 (online)
Mandatory for certificate eligibility. We close the course together and celebrate your progress.
